The Curse of the Scrambled Cursor..... is SOLVED!

Since Windows 7 arrived, Tablet PC users working in portrait mode have battled the curse of the duplicate and scrambled cursor.  It was confusing, headache inducing, and annoying. 

It remained through multiple beta and final revisions of Windows 7.  Much to our horror, it remained in the final release.

The appearance looked like:


Now, the solution has been found!

Go to Control Panel

Find "Mouse Properties"
Go to "Pointer Options"
Put a check mark in the "Display Pointer trails"
Slide the bar over to "short"
Apply the changes and then restart journal.

This problem seems to have been solved. I am a heavy Journal user and this has driven me CRAZY!!!

Finally! A Tablet PC for Toon Boom

Hewlett Packard's (HP) newest Tablet PC, the "tm2" arrived this year.  It is the first Tablet PC that can actually run Toon Boom animation software appropriately. In July 2010, HP also released an updated tm2 Tablet PC with faster Intel i3 and i5 processors and an updated ATI graphics coprocessor. Why is this Tablet PC unique and important? 1. This is the only Tablet PC with an added and switchable graphics coprocessor. This makes it more suitable for gaming (not that I am much of a gamer) and demanding graphics or video applications. 2. Most importantly, for Toon Boom fans, this is probably the only Tablet PC with sufficient horsepower to run Animate Pro and Toon Boom Studio without major compromises. 3. Amazingly, this Tablet PC is half the price of far lesser configurations from other vendors, including the Compaq/HP Business division. Coronavirus Cartoons

It's easy to forget how early most of us knew Covid-19 could become a real problem.  Experts were downplaying it as a minor hazard compared to influenza.. Not until January 20 was there official acknowledgement the virus could spread from person to person. On that same day, I tried to buy face masks for our office and discovered a disturbing problem:  They were all sold out.   Something was brewing.  Though the American Public was preoccupied with Democratic Primaries and impeachment hearings, many were also aware of the new virus in Wuhan.  By January 23, I felt enough people knew of the threat to create two cartoons: The second cartoon was done at a time when people were entering crowded DMV's to get their new driver's license which would enable them to fly in airplanes.  The lines were insane and the wait was many, many hours. This one did not age well.  I thought it was pretty hilarious at the time and I got a lot of positive feedback.  Now, it looks.... kind of cliche
